Background The Study on Interoperability is now finalised. Cases of good practice have been published on the website of the Good Practice Framework of the European Commission and can be gained from here. Moreover, all relevant Study reports can be obtained from the website of the European Commission, Information Society and Media Directorate-General. eEurope 2005 included actions such as disseminating good practice, benchmarking Member States and supporting activities to raise awareness and to enhance the security of networks and information. In the context of this project, interoperability (IOP) has been defined as a means and a precondition to achieve integration of formerly separated eGovernment systems and services. |
